Going back to your roots eh?......oooh that sound.........Unmistakeably Mike Oldfield..........unmistakeably Ol' Swampy and most of all unmistakeably TJ on a M.O. trip.
This is just beautiful........yep, I'm with Helen, one (and there are many) of my favourite M.O. tunes.
I also noticed that this had suddenly appeared as a new backer on GBT.com. and knowing you keep your eye on such things, indeed wondered whether it was going to get the South Wales treatment.
Didn't take long did it?

I haven't heard this for 30 odd years ...the memories flood back...
Swampy at its most regal great tones and playing......
Helen is most definitely one in a million...you are a very lucky man

that's the tone which convinced me a PRS is the way to go. Stunning, powerful, delicate, and relentless. I don't know the original, but this is enough to make me look up Mike Oldfield.

finding words to tell a GUITAR PLAYER you think he isin top form and right up his alley-
so all I will say is ................

I'm also not familiar with the tune...but your rendition is one fine piece of playing TJ.

This is a hard tune..demands a careful touch when the gain is cranked like that and the pace is slow and delicate.

Good dynamics and loved the soft outro.

A good woman is alot harder to find than a good guitar. I'd say you struck gold on both counts mate.

Great bump Tim..........
I've always thought that one day I'd have a go at this one myself.
.........might do just that now having listened to TJ's cover once again.
