I come on the site when I am at work and just listen to the different sections of music.  A rag tag group of folks brought together by Tony and his site.  Even after years of listening I am still amazed at the amount of talent that was brought together on this site and all the encouragement each gave to each other to help each other improve, myself included.  To those that have passed and those still around I wanted to thank you all

That’s a large DITTO from me Tim to all you have said……..
I too listen in at the office – I usually just choose a juke box and let it run.
The talent and musicianship  to be found on the cool-lab boards is truly wonderful and it is so disappointing that it all came to an end.
A big thanks to all from me too.

It is sign of the times There are not a lot new musicians unless it is electronic with loops, Not just this site but all the sites I used to visit are having a similar fate aging participants and no new blood. This is a shame though I am as guilty moving I have the studio equipment in the barn, but have been busy setting up the farm.  I have the new barn just about framed out once this is done the studio is next.  Still playing the acoustic every day so there will be not too much rust

Howdy gang. I certainly wish that more folks were active on here (including myself) and that a younger crowd was actively joining. It is a shame, certainly, but wow I love to come on here and pick up some of the posts. Jeez, there are some great song posts on here. It's incredible. It goes to show that these communities are so much more engaging that a facebook group or some other account. Cheers team, cool-lab.

Great to hear from you Andrew.
I would think that 'The House Of The Rising Sun' has been played by almost everyone learning to play guitar.
However, forget 'The Animals'.........for me, the AC/TJ Cool-Lab version from 2010 stands out well above the rest.
Your vocals + TJ's guitar...........wonderful.
